Luis Checa from Winter Springs, Florida has signed letter of intent with the Loggers soccer program. Checa the Central Florida Player of the Year and Orlando Sentinel Player of the Year scored 26 goals and 12 assists this past season. Saphir Salvador a teammate of Checa will join him this fall at LLCC. Salvador a starting defender for Winter Springs High School that finished with a 15-4-1 record.
 
Coach T.J. Mabie is very pleased with his 10 new Loggers signees for the 2012 fall season. “I believe we should be very strong at every position. I'm really looking forward to getting everyone on the field and putting the pieces together for a great season.”
