LLCC’s Blake Burgess signs national letter of intent to play basketball at William Woods University
SPRINGFIELD–Lincoln Land Community College Loggers basketball player Blake Burgess signed a national letter of intent Monday to play at William Woods University, Fulton, Mo., for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Burgess, a guard who attended Jacksonville High School, averaged 6.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game, and shot 39% from the field.
“Blake has been a great player for us in his time at LLCC. He has a tremendous work ethic that carries over on the court. For two years, Blake has been our go-to guy on the defensive end. He will be very successful at WWU and we are going to miss him,” said Chad Jones, LLCC head men’s basketball coach.
